Zawadi Media Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
Zawadi Media is the advertising service of Auduvant Technologies LLC. This page explains what Zawadi Media collects about the people who see its ads and about the businesses that advertise with it, and why. It adds to the Auduvant Technologies Privacy Policy, which covers what applies across all our products: your rights, who we share information with, and how we protect it. Where this page and that policy differ, this page applies to Zawadi Media.
At a glance
- If you see a Zawadi Media ad, we don't know who you are. Our ads use no cookies and store nothing in your browser. We don't keep your IP address. We keep only counts, such as how many times an ad was shown in a country on a given day.
- If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, we count only the country, the hour and the day of the week for each ad shown, and we don't use your city to choose an ad.
- If you advertise with us, we keep your account, your business details and your ads to run the service. You can download your data, close your business account or delete your account yourself, from Settings.
- When you delete or close an account, we erase the personal and business details 30 days later. We keep payment records for 7 years, as tax law requires, without them.
- We never sell information, build profiles of people, or follow anyone across other websites.
1. People who see Zawadi Media ads
Zawadi Media ads appear in ad spaces on websites. Today these are only Auduvant Technologies' own sites, such as genvium.com. The ad loads in a small frame from ads.auduvanttechnologies.com.
What we never do
- We set no cookies and store nothing in your browser, and the ad frame sends no cookies back to us.
- We give you no identifier, and we don't recognize you if you come back.
- We don't store your IP address. Google's load balancer, which receives every request first, uses it to work out your country, region, city and device type, then passes on only those. We have switched off request logging on the load balancer and on the ad server.
- We don't record which page you were on. The ad frame asks your browser not to send it, and the frame can't read the page around it.
What we use for each ad shown
For each ad shown, we use the following details, grouped into broad categories:
- Always: your country, and the hour and day of the week where you are.
- Unless your browser sends Global Privacy Control: your state or province, device type (phone, tablet, desktop), browser family (such as Chrome or Safari), whether your device is in light or dark mode, your browser's two-letter language, and your connection speed (slow, medium or fast).
- To choose an ad near you, unless your browser sends Global Privacy Control: the position of the centre of the city your internet connection is in. We use it only to check whether you are within the area a local advertiser chose, and we don't keep it.
- To tell people from automated programs: your browser's description of itself (its "user agent"). Requests from known bots aren't counted, and the description isn't kept.
From these we keep only totals, one detail at a time: for example, "this ad was shown 120 times in Michigan today". We never store a record of an individual showing or visitor. To avoid counting the same view or click twice, we hold a random number for each ad shown in our server's memory for up to 24 hours. It isn't linked to you, and it is never written to our database.
We also count whether an ad was actually seen (at least half of it on screen for one second), whether it was clicked, and roughly how long it stayed in view (under 5 seconds, 5 to 15, or more). When you click an ad, we send you straight to the advertiser's page without passing on the page you came from.
What advertisers see
Advertisers see totals only. Our reports never show a figure for a group smaller than 15. Comparisons with other businesses are shown only when at least 5 advertisers are included, and only as rates.
Reporting an ad
Every ad has a small flag that opens a page where you can tell us what's wrong with it. We keep which ad it was, the reason you chose and the time. We don't ask who you are, and nothing about you or your browser is kept with the report. We delete reports 30 days after we have dealt with them.
Our reason for using this information
Our legitimate interests in showing relevant ads, measuring them honestly for advertisers, preventing fraud, and dealing with reports about ads. We collect so little that we can't link any of it to you.
2. Businesses that advertise with us
What we keep
- Your account: your work email address and, if you add it, your name. Your password is stored only in a hashed form (Argon2) that we can't read back. You must use an email address at your business's own domain, not a free email service.
- Your business: its registered name, the name shown in Zawadi Media, its address and its country. Every change to these is kept for 30 days, with who made it and when.
- Proof that the business is real: the email domain we verified, and the result of the card check.
- Your ads and campaigns: the words, images and links in your ads, the areas and dates you chose, and how your ads performed, as totals.
- Reviews of your ads: the results of our checks, the decisions, your appeals and our answers.
- What you agreed to: which version of our terms, our advertiser commitments and the rights confirmation you accepted, and when.
- Premium, if you buy it: your Stripe customer and subscription numbers, your plan's status and renewal date, and the ID and type of each payment notification Stripe sends us. We don't keep notification contents.
- Security records: failed sign-in attempts, stored as a scrambled form of the email address (never the address itself) with the time.
The card check
To make sure every advertiser is a real business, we ask for a card. Nothing is charged. You enter the card on a form that comes straight from Stripe, so the card details go to Stripe and never reach us. We keep only Stripe's reference number for the check and whether it succeeded. Stripe's script may set its own cookies to prevent fraud, under Stripe's privacy policy.
Paying for Premium
Advertising is free. Premium adds Campaign Intelligence reports. When you buy Premium, you pay on Stripe's checkout page. Link, a Stripe company, sells Premium to you as the seller of record and handles sales tax, payments and refunds, under Link's privacy policy. We receive your plan's status and dates, never your card details.
How ads are reviewed
Before an ad runs, we check it automatically, and a person checks it when needed:
- Google Web Risk checks the ad's links for malware and phishing.
- Google Cloud Vision checks the ad's image: whether it is unsafe, how many faces it shows, which logos appear, and any words in it. We keep the number of faces it found, never the faces or anything that could recognize a person.
- Our server opens the page your ad links to, to check that it works and matches the ad.
- A Zawadi Media reviewer may look at the ad, the checks and your answers.
Cookies in the portal
The advertiser portal (zawadi.auduvanttechnologies.com) uses two cookies, and both are needed for it to work:
ZSESSIONkeeps you signed in. Your session ends after 2 hours without activity.XSRF-TOKENprotects your forms from being sent by another website.
The portal uses no analytics or advertising cookies. The card-check page loads Stripe's script, as described above.
Emails we send
- Account emails: email verification, password reset links (they work for 1 hour), a confirmation when your password changes, a warning when someone tries to sign up with your address, and confirmations when you close or delete an account.
- Ad emails: the result of each review, of each appeal, and any takedown, with the reason.
We send no marketing emails. Our emails come from support@auduvanttechnologies.com through Google Workspace.
Our reasons for using this information
- To provide the service you signed up for (our contract with you): your account, your ads, reviews, reports and Premium.
- For our legitimate interests: confirming that advertisers are real businesses (the domain and card checks), keeping ads safe and lawful (the automated checks), and protecting accounts (failed sign-in records).
- To meet legal obligations: payment records, copyright notices, and records a court or authority requires us to keep.
3. Copyright notices
If you send us a copyright notice, we keep your name, contact details, email address and signature, and what you told us, so that we can act on it. As the law expects, we send what you said, including your name, to the advertiser so they can respond. We erase your contact details 30 days after the matter is closed and keep a record that the notice was dealt with. See our Copyright Policy.
4. Service providers
These companies process information for Zawadi Media under contract, only to provide their service:
- Google Cloud: runs our servers, database, image storage and load balancer, in the United States (Iowa), and provides the Web Risk and Cloud Vision checks.
- Google Workspace: sends and receives our email.
- Stripe and Link: the card check and Premium payments.
Our database and servers are in the United States. Google Workspace and Stripe may process information in other countries under their data processing terms. The list of cities we use to target ads comes from GeoNames (Creative Commons Attribution 4.0). No information about you is sent to GeoNames.
5. How long we keep it
- Counts of ads shown, seen and clicked: indefinitely, as anonymous totals.
- Random numbers used to avoid double counting: up to 24 hours, in memory only.
- Reports of ads: 30 days after we have dealt with them.
- Your account: while it is open. When you delete it, you are signed out at once, and your name, email address and password are erased 30 days later.
- Your business details and ad images: while the business account is open. When it is closed, the ads stop at once, and the business's name, address and ad images are erased 30 days later.
- Changes to business details: 30 days.
- Failed sign-in records: 30 days. Email and password-reset links: deleted 1 day after they are used or expire.
- Payment notifications from Stripe: 30 days. Payment records (plan, dates, Stripe reference numbers): 7 years after the business account closes, as tax law requires, linked only to the anonymous business.
- Records of agreements, ad reviews, appeals and takedowns: kept, so that we can show how decisions were made. When an account is erased, these records stay linked only to an anonymous person or business, and appeal statements are erased.
- Copyright notices: the sender's details 30 days after the matter is closed.
- Emails to us: deleted with the account they concern, or, if there is none, within 30 days after we have answered.
Two exceptions. If we have suspended or terminated a business for breaking our rules, we keep the records needed to enforce that decision, such as the business's name and verified domain, and to stop it from simply opening a new account. And if a court or authority asks us to keep something (a "legal hold"), we keep it until the hold ends.
Before your details are erased, you can change your mind: email support@auduvanttechnologies.com and we will restore your account or reopen your business account.
6. Your choices and rights
- Download your data: Settings → Your data → Download my data gives you one file with your account, business details and their history, campaigns, ads, review decisions, appeals and the agreements you accepted.
- Correct it: edit your profile and business details in Settings. To change your country or sign-in email address, contact us.
- Close your business account: Settings → Close the business account (owners only). If Premium is set to renew, cancel it first on the Plan page.
- Delete your account: Settings → Delete my account.
- Fewer details about ads you see: turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser.
For anything else, including the rights described in the Auduvant Technologies Privacy Policy, email support@auduvanttechnologies.com.
7. Children
Zawadi Media accounts are for people aged 18 or older who are signing up for a business. We collect no personal information from the people who see our ads, children included. Our Advertising Policy doesn't allow ads aimed at children.
8. Changes to this page
When we change this page, we will update the date above. If a change affects how we use information you have already given us, we will email account holders before it takes effect. When you sign up, we record which version you were shown.
